The international Businesswear brand has custom designed, navy-blue Euro Fit wool suits with a silver tie and matching pocket square for all official representations of players and coaching staff this season. An official Melbourne Victory pin adds the finishing touches.

As well as embodying savoir-faire and modern-day fashionability, the suits feature Van Heusen Move technology – a unique blend of Wool, Trevira and Elastan, to give unrivalled flexibility and movement.

With a long sporting association both in Australia and in the US, Van Heusen was an obvious choice for the Victory said Chairman Anthony Di Pietro.

“It is very important for our players to look sharp on and off the field. We are confident that by partnering with a style authority such as Van Heusen the players will always look and feel their best.”

Melbourne Victory Captain, Carl Valeri, who also featured in the campaign shoot, echoed this saying, “The team look and feel fantastic in our Van Heusen suits and wearing them definitely reinforces Melbourne’s reputation as Australia’s sporting capital in a very stylish way.”

Rupert Maisenbacher, General Manager Heritage Brands said Van Heusen is looking forward to a successful relationship with the 2015 Hyundai A-League champion.

“We are thrilled to be joining forces with the Melbourne Victory. They are the current champion and as such they deserve to be dressed in accordance to their standards of excellence.”

As well as being photographed for an official team portrait, four Melbourne Victory players (Fahid Ben Khalfallah, Carl Valeri, Besart Berisha & Jesse Makarounas), modelled their Van Heusen suits in a campaign shoot by internationally renowned Australian photographer David Mandelberg.
