Tod’s Scores a Collab with Iconic Designer Alber Elbaz

One of my favourite and ex Lanvin designer the infamous Alber Elbaz, has partnered up with Tod’s and created a capsule collection for Tod’s Factory calling it “Tod’s Happy Moments”. His starting point was the iconic and beloved Tod’s driving shoe, capturing and transforming its true spirit for the next generation.

“Tod’s Happy Moments illustrates the happiness Tod’s brings at different times of the day or different moments of life.” Alber Elbaz

The uplifting collection comprises of shoes and bags for men & women with Alber Elbaz giving his own spin to Tod’s DNA, recreating new contexts for the driving shoes, making them aerodynamic, bright, unstructured or mounted on sneaker soles, swarming in logos or not.

The collection will subsequently tour Europe and other international regions including Australia , landing in the shops through two different in-season drops.

“Tod’s Happy Moments by Alber Elbaz” will be unveiled in Paris this week, and last night (July 3rd) to celebrate the launch TOD’s held a cocktail event with Alber Elbaz during Paris Couture Week, with a whole host of VIP’S and media in attendance.

So keep an eye out for the collection because it’ll definitely become a collectors item, and with Alber Elbaz you know its sure to be worth its weight in gold.
