MR PORTER is pleased to launch globally Made in the USA watch brand Shinola this FW14 season.
Founded in Detroit in 2011, Shinola has brought large-scale watch manufacturing back to the States for the first time since the late 1960s. Hand assembled in their factory in downtown Detroit, creative director Mr Daniel Caudill has reinvigorated the storied American brand and reinstated its original values of quality craftsmanship. MR PORTER launches 6 of the ageless, utilitarian timepieces today, with 3 more to come later in the season – each of which is based on heritage design inspired by the city’s industrial history.
