Sydney revellers are invited to hedge their bets on The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room for this year’s Melbourne Cup. Guests will be treated to an eclectic menu from internationally acclaimed Executive Chef Sean Connolly as well as enjoying an exciting range of activities, including Fashions on the Field.
Located conveniently in Sydney’s CBD, The Morrison Bar and Oyster Room is already renowned for its menu, managed by Executive Chef Sean Connolly, so it’s perhaps no surprise that it has cemented itself as a firm favourite at the climax of the Spring Racing carnival.
As the 3pm race on Tuesday 3rd November stops Australia in its tracks, Sydney-siders who’ve put their money on The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room will take full advantage of a four course lunch and flute of champagne on arrival for just $145pp. Guests will be with the set menu, which includes Freshly Shucked Oysters, Free Range lamb Shoulder, Ocean Trout on a Plank and The Morrison’s infamous doughnut holes to name just a few of the mouth watering options.
MC for the festivities is Lizzy Lovette who will no doubt entertain the crowd and will assist in awarding on the spot prizes for the best dressed.
“Everyone knows that the Melbourne Cup activities are a force to be reckoned with, and this year is absolutely no exception for The Morrison as we introduce a variety of events and activities for guests to get involved with whilst having a flutter on the GGs,” says Executive Chef Sean Connolly.
The Morrison will celebrate the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday 3rd November 2015 and will offer punters a four course dinner, including champagne on arrival for just $145pp. An after party will also be hosted at The Morrison for post-race shinnanigans, where the drinks will continue to flow and guests can take full advantage of $99 Champagne Magnums!
