We’re thrilled to share an exclusive with our readers, in its ongoing efforts to create exciting new release strategies, Entertainment One is thrilled to announce that the darkly comedic thriller, KILL ME THREE TIMES (directed by Kriv Stenders) has now debuted on digital platforms, DVD and Blu-Ray.
In KILL ME THREE TIMES, Simon Pegg plays the mercurial assassin, Charlie Wolfe, who discovers he isn’t the only person trying to kill the siren of a sun drenched surfing town. Charlie quickly finds himself at the centre of three tales of murder, mayhem, blackmail and revenge. The ensemble cast includes Pegg (Star Trek 3, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Shaun of the Dead), Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire, Animal Kingdom, Gangster Squad), Alice Braga (I Am Legend, Elysium), Teresa Palmer (Point Break, Warm Bodies,Wish You Were Here), Callan Mulvey (Zero Dark Thirty, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Luke Hemsworth (Infini,The Reckoning, Neighbours) and Aussie legend Bryan Brown (Australia, Cocktail, Gods of Egypt).
Shot in stunning locations throughout Western Australia, KILL ME THREE TIMES was produced by Tania Chambers, Laurence Malkin and Share Stallings (Death at a Funeral, A Few Best Men). Screen Australia, ScreenWest, Lotterywest and MIFF Premiere Fund financed the film, in association with Jake Film Finance, Media House Capital and Creative Wealth Media Finance, Film Victoria and Soundfirm.
To further support the release, the film’s producers and Screen Australia, in conjunction with digital agency Loud&Clear, have launched an interactive Twitter & Facebook KILL ME THREE TIMES transmedia experience. KILL ME THREE TIMES had its World Premiere in Official Selection at 2014’s Toronto International Film Festival, where Magnolia Pictures acquired it for the US. It has since enjoyed its European Premiere at the London Film Festival, Asian Premiere at the Busan International Film Festival and US Premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, in addition to official selections in festivals and locations as diverse as Japan, Spain, and Taiwan. To date the film has been sold to over 70 countries around the world, been nominated for Best Picture for the West Australian Screen Awards, and its international review highlights include:
