Get out of town and take dad on a scenic Sunday road trip to Biota Dining in Bowral. The Botanist 

If your dad loves a good old fashioned Sunday roast you should head to Kirribilli’s The Botanist for a pork roast with crispy potatoes, roast carrots and parsnips for $60 for two which includes a complimentary white or red wine, or tap beer. The Botanist team will also be serving up $8 bloody mary’s from 11am-4pm, or you could try the ‘Barrington Boutique’ made up of blueberry infused Bulleit Bourbon with peach liqueur, lemon, spiced blueberry syrup and orange bitters, which will be sure to quench dad’s thirst.

Not your typical hardware store, nonetheless a fantastic option of where to take dad this Father’s Day. Treat your dad with $10 cocktail classics such as the rusty nail, hammer, jackhammer, monkey wrench and screwdriver available all day. What better way to celebrate Father’s Day lunch than at Potts Point wine bar, Monopole? Monopole will be serving a $65pp seven-course shared menu designed by Brent Savage, recently named The Australian’s 2015 Hottest Chef of the Year. Start with spiced pork saucisson or cured Rangers Vallery tri tip, followed by cured trevally, pickled cucumber, smoked yoghurt and sea greens and spiced lamb rump, charred cabbage and kohlrabi. Finish off with pumpkin ice cream, chocolate ganache, mandarin and salted pepitas, which is sure to satisfy any dad.

Yellow will be serving a special Father’s Day $65pp three-course menu showcasing its renowned contemporary French-bistro style food.
