It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Din Tai Fung and they are celebrating by introducing their first ever Christmas Banquets and the addition of limited edition Christmas dumplings to the much-loved menu.
The two Christmas banquet options, Sparkling Christmas ($48pp) and Festive Celebration ($38pp), are packed with Din Tai Fung favourites including xiao long bao, green beans with minced pork and mango pudding and both come with a drink of either house red or white wine, or one of the popular signature drinks such as lychee mint freeze and yuzu peach freeze. The Sparkling Christmas banquet has the addition of a welcome mocktail and the luxe black truffle pork dumplings. The banquets are available for four or more people at most restaurant stores, and for a minimum of ten people at World Square and Emporium Melbourne.
The limited edition red coloured seafood dumpling, made of shrimp and calamari, and the green coloured salad greens dumpling, made of baby bok choy, beans, water chestnut, vermicelli and mushrooms, are available on the regular menu and are also included in the Christmas banquet menus. The Christmas dumplings are brightly coloured using 100% natural colouring from fruits and vegetables.
The limited edition Christmas Dumplings will be available in all Sydney stores for the month of December and at Emporium Melbourne from November 12 through to December 31. Din Tai Fung’s Christmas banquet menus will be available in both Sydney and Melbourne stores from November 12. The Christmas banquet menus will not be available at the Café Courts.
