Coco Republic is delighted to launch a new outdoor collection to transform outdoor living spaces this summer. In stores nationally, the Outdoor 2018 collection features a range of international designs, interpreted for the Australian market. The new line combines style with liveable comfort, to create inviting social settings for lounging and outdoor entertaining.
Inspired by a European Summer, the collection embraces contemporary design with clean lines for an alfresco lifestyle by the coast or inner city. The new pieces are beautifully crafted, balancing a mix of textures from hardwood timber and concrete to rope for interest and versatility.
Anthony Spon Smith, Coco Republic Executive Director and head of buying says of the new collection,
“This year Coco Republic has added over 70 new outdoor pieces, which almost doubles the collection. It has been an easy decision to expand the line so significantly because I feel that there is a real gap in the market for quality outdoor product at a reasonable price point, yet within the same market as high end lines sourced from Europe.”
“Our collection is designed by Coco Republic and takes a contemporary lead from Europe but has an Australian compatibility that I feel will deliver on our promise at Coco Republic to deliver international design in an Australian way. I’ve worked to ensure that the textures and finishes were more diverse this season and as such we’ve mixed timber, concrete, outdoor rope, aluminium, ceramics and stone. Most of our outdoor items are commercial grade, often ready to endure even the most used outdoor environments.”
The new pieces enhance indoor-outdoor living and dining for a serene sanctuary. Exquisitely crafted timber dining tables and contemporary chairs are perfect for the modern entertainer. Luxurious modular lounges and sofas, versatile occasional pieces and unique accent stools embrace the Australian summer lifestyle. The new collection will also see planters added to the range for the first time, with three versatile concrete styles.
Coco Republic will also offer new colourways and extensions on existing house favourites such as the popular Cayman Sofa, now available in both taupe and charcoal in addition to various modular configurations. The St Vincent Occasional Chair will now be available in a white rattan finish to add a fresh aesthetic to outdoor spaces.
