I had the pleasure Last Thursday night of attending the launch of Electric and Craig Anderson’s signature sunglass, Txoko. In the atmospheric basement of The Old Growler bar in Wooloomoolo, the distinctive frames came alive. The event was a reflection of Craig’s style with surfers, street dwellers and trendsetters alike joining the event, the frame made its grand entrance into the world of premium surf fashion.
ELECTRIC and Craig Anderson have launched the exclusive release of the Txoko in Australia, with a global release coming January 2015.
Uncompromising in attitude, Txoko and Craig Anderson transcend time and trend through a seldom found individuality and heightened sense for quality. Inspired by Craig’s style on water and land, Txoko is a stand alone eyewear design for Electric. Incorporating finely polished, hand cut acetate and forged metal temple arms, the collaboration combines classic inspiration and modern finishing. The fit is to Craig’s specifications and suits those who are looking for style on and off the beach.

The Reprise has been a favorite of mine for its shape and solid acetate frame, but I’ve always wanted something more unique to me which is what I tried to create with the Txoko.
