MRPORTER.COM and CFDA award winning designer Thom Browne have worked together to create an exclusive capsule collection. The nine-piece collection of includes a sport jacket, Chesterfield overcoat, cropped trousers and contrast brogue boots.
The Thom Browne capsule plays on his design signature of taking classic staples and crafting them in a unique way. The silhouette is slim and lean, and an iconic American prep aesthetic has been incorporated through the Harlequin ‘fun mix’ technique.
Alternating fabrics of the same weight are combined in hero pieces including the bal-collar herringbone overcoat, check cotton Oxford shirt and dark grey blazer and matching trousers, complete with trademark turn-up. The result is an innovative take on luxury tailoring which plays to the heritage of Thom’s background as a master craftsman.
