This year marked a milestone for Rogue Homme as we celebrated out 5th Birthday, and thanks to our amazing partner The Intercontinental Hotel Sydney and their stunning Bar Supper Club Sydney we celebrated in absolute Style with 120 of Sydney’s elite and industry partners.
With style, heritage and understated luxury at the heart of Rogue Homme, the event paid tribute to the blog’s first five years with an elegant affair that moved throughout InterContinental Sydney in a carefully-designed multi-sensory journey. Key event partners Grey Goose and Hayman’s Gin brought the creative vision to life with signature cocktails and a dramatic Grey Goose centrepiece to mark the occasion.
Guests arrived into the hotel’s pop-up Florist bar which was reimagined to transport guests back to the venue’s origins in the 1851 Treasury Building. Designed to reflect the innovation of modern luxury, the converted florist shop was a styled production with garden-party theming, vintage watering cans, garden gnomes and a canopy of fairy lights. Event partners, Hayman’s Gin, welcomed guests with a signature Gin & Jay cocktail from resident mixologist, John Toubia.
Private elevators escorted guests to the evening’s main attraction – Supper Club by InterContinental Sydney – for phase two of the evening’s celebrations among 270 degree views across the Sydney Harbour from level thirty-two. In signature Supper Club style, the exclusive rooftop bar and lounge was themed to seasonal perfection, showcasing fresh blooms shaded in dark red hues, candle light and a stunning long-run centrepiece featuring a luxe line-up of cheese & charcuterie, grapes, figs, seasonal fruits – and of course, Grey Goose highlights.
Three bespoke Grey Goose cocktails included the halo cocktail of the evening, the Le Grand Fizz, and signature cocktails: the Grey Goose & Watermelon and Honey Suckle Fix. Guest were treated to live entertainment and gourmet canapes within the rooftop lounge and terrace balcony, including exclusive giveaways to honour the birthday celebrations.
Arrnott Olssen, Rogue Homme founder, said: “The first five years has been an incredible journey. Rogue Homme is about style, luxury, the experiential and the timeless classics, and no one could deliver this vision quite like InterContinental Sydney. Supper Club, like Rogue Homme, is synonymous with boldness and innovation, and being able to celebrate the embodiment of this with friends, media and partners, has me wonderfully excited for what the next five years can bring!”
Celebrating among Arrnott Olssen and InterContinental Sydney was some of media and the industry’s hottest names, including TV & Radio host Lizzy Lovette & Publican Husband James Wicks, Rabbitohs Player Cameron Murray & Partner Miranda Cross, Fashion & Travel Blogger Helen Chik, Survivor Contestant Odette Blacklock, Lifestyle Blogger Sally Spratt and host of Sydney’s best dressed.
Supper Club by InterContinental Sydney is Sydney’s premier rooftop bar and lounge and is opened Thursday to Saturday from 8:00pm until late. The rooftop venue is available for private events and bookings are essential.
