In keeping with our Style week we’d like to introduce Palladium Shoes and the Palladium’s Explorer Series, which has been creatively showcasing city exploration from around the globe.
For those of you who may not know, Palladium made the bold move to making boots in France in 1947, having originally been an aviation tyre company. Now a wardrobe staple, the brand is known for its durability, quality and a style that continues to stand the test of time.
The background – Palladium asked ten tastemakers in cities around the world to produce short films highlighting unknown, disused and abandoned areas of their city, donning their Palladium Boots as they unveil hidden treasures and urban landscapes. They began in NYC, producing a film with Street Etiquette, and worked their way across to Australia.
The final instalment of the Explorer Series features the talented Jarrod and Simon from Melbourne Parkour (Parkour is a philosophy and training method developed in France, allowing you to move through any environment at speed) as they explore the urban landscape of Melbourne by night.
