We said we were going to make some changes this year with Rogue Homme, and we’re so pumped to welcome the very talented Nick Malouf to the Rogue Homme family.
Nick Malouf is a 23 year old an Australian Rugby Sevens Player who resides on the Northern Beaches, and has been playing rugby professionally for the last 5 seasons, with his career highlight coming in 2016 when he competed at the Rio Olympics Games. He was lucky enough to have been able to do a fair bit of travel and experience a number of cultures through rugby, which he has absolutely loved. Away from Rugby he is studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce dual degree part time but still has time to squeeze in a few hobbies include surfing, cooking, music, travel and fashion.
We threw him a few questions to so we could get to know him a little better, and i think his answers will surprise you.
What keeps you motivated?
The thing that motivates me is a drive to reach my absolute potential in everything that I take on in life. It just so happens that I am also an extremely competitive person and I hate losing so that always pushes me to get the best out of myself and others. The other thing that motivates me is to make my family and those closest to me proud.
Favourite food and drink?
My favourite food would have to be sushi; the Salmon Nigiri Sushi (the blowtorched one) is my pick of the bunch. As for drinks, and lets be honest food in general – I am willing to try pretty much anything and chances are I will love it!
Describe your style?
I would describe my style as quite versatile. I spend a fair bit of time in my training kit so I’ve got a fair collection of workout gear and runners. My chosen look would be a smart casual/formal look – I like to wear a lot of linen, chino’s and suits. I do spend a lot of time at the beach as well so a pair of boardies and a simple tee are never far away.
