Festival Directors Jay Beaumont and Simon Luke were understandably pumped about the resounding response to this year’s beefed-up Meatstock schedule “After a huge first year, we end the second year of Meatstock back where it all began – Sydney Showground. We’re stoked to be able to cap off Meatstock 2017 with a super-sized helping of what all the festivalgoers loved in 2016.”

Besides prime cuts and primo music, Meatstock’s three signature Wars (Butcher, Barbecue, and Barber, all of which feature a wide array of talent from around the globe) have made a comeback in 2017, along with live demos and workshops. That’s enough to work up anyone’ appetite, so it’s a good thing food trucks and craft beer will again be on-hand to keep attendees nourished – in the most meat-sweaty way possible. Special guest Moerlando ‘Big Moe’ Cason, fan favourite on BBQ Pitmasters, will be on hand to dish out his top tips for low’n’slow to the Sydney crowds.
