Manly Wharf Hotel is embracing sunny days overlooking Sydney Harbour with a reinvigorated menu full of delicious flavours and fresh produce.
The menu refresh is a collaboration between Manly Wharf Hotel’s Head Chef Alex Towning and Food Rascals founder and Executive Chef David O’Brien (ex-Merivale). Together, they’ve created menu that pays homage to the casual vibe of the pub, perfectly reflecting Manly’s relaxed coastal lifestyle.
The bespoke burger patty has been created especially for the pub and is a delicious mix of chuck steak and brisket delivered daily for full flavour. Everyone knows the bun makes the burger, so the Manly Wharf Hotel took their time finding the perfect bread mix which just so happened to be a milk bun from a nearby Dee Why bakery. This soft and airy bread, also known as Hokkaido milk bread, uses a Japanese technique called ‘Tangzhong’ that ensures the bun is fluffy.
To offer diners more choice, salad lovers can now add their favourite of protein including fresh Yamba prawns and smoked trout to flavour-packed salads; dig into Port Lincoln mussels steamed in fennel and chorizo; or share the pub’s crispy seafood platter while taking in the view from the jetty.
If you’re bringing kids down to the wharf, there’s a new “Little Rascals” menu to satisfy your very own little rascals. For $10, kids can enjoy their very own pizza, pasta or ice-cream sundae (which is bound to be a favourite).
The drinks menu retains all of the classic cocktails with the addition of the brand-new Chata Colada – RumChata topped with coconut and garnished with pineapple wedge.
Justin Tynan, General Manager at Manly Wharf Hotel says: “We’ve created a menu that is inspired by our incredible waterfront and relaxed Manly vibe – one that’s fresh, tasty and easily enjoyed with friends.”
Weekly Sunset Sessions brought to you by Aperol and Corona set the perfect backdrop for a casual Sunday afternoon catch-up on the wharf. Kick back to the chilled tunes of regular DJs Brenny B and Somatik while sharing an al fresco bite with family and friends.
The variety of different areas throughout the pub allow guests to tailor their own experience. With stunning 180 degree views of the harbour, Manly Wharf Hotel is the perfect place for lunch, dinner and drinks or a night out.
