M.J Bale Drops a Kickass Winter Suiting Range with a Shit Hot Diverse Campaign

Our friends at M.J Bale have working away during isolation engineering new ways and smarter plays to put the modern man in motion, and have dropped a kickass new range of Winter suiting options with a superb diverse campaign.

As a POC it’s always wonderful to see the society I live in represented in advertising, so we’re super pumped to share M.J Bale’s latest Winter 2020 campaign not just because it represents diversity but because it’s shit hot.

The modern suit has evolved in its construction and details, and so relevant for the times we are living in where work is both a mixture of casual wear and suiting.

Purchases are becoming more considered, and choices are now being made based on longevity and versatility in wear.

Hero garments include woollen flannel ‘woven in Italy’ Castelli suits with patch pockets in
navy and grey options, as well as the natty navy-white chalk-stripe Bordersley suit.

For those with grand evening plans, plush velvet ‘Opera’ blazers with Japanese braid
edges are dialled-up with classical tailoring or toned down with crew neck knits and
thick cotton shirts.

M.J Bale Drops a Kickass Winter Suiting Range with a Shit Hot Diverse CampaignGarments to bounce from WFH to the office to the weekend include wool-cotton
‘woven in Italy’ pleated check trousers, mercerised wool-cotton knits, soft woollen
‘Acqua’ water-repellent overcoats and soft deconstructed blazers in flannel and
woollen tweed. Cotton over-shirts (AKA the ‘shirt-jacket’) in plains and stripes are for
creative and tech workers who like the concept of the blazer but want to walk to their
own beat.

Helping the M.J. Bale man stay active on the weekend are sporty sleeveless gilets in
red and navy, water- and wind-resistant bombers and an aviator-style cotton jacket
with ribbed collar and hem. New Merino wool scarves and beanies woven from
100% cashmere keep the extremities warm.

Cementing M.J. Bale’s commitment to community, the brand will announce in early
July a charity suit drive, as well as a renewed partnership with AIME (Australian
Indigenous Mentoring Experience). As part of the partnership, M.J. Bale is creating
limited edition AIME x M.J. Bale ‘hoodie jackets’ to sell in stores, with 100% of profits
going directly to AIME. In addition, M.J. Bale are collaborating with AIME school
students on new designs for the brand’s Summer 20-21 collection and providing
mentoring to AIME graduates at M.J. Bale.

Coming up next is M.J. Bale’s commitment to environment announcement, which will
include the clothier’s biggest project to date, stay tuned.
