If you’re like me and a huge food fan you would have seen the amazing upgrade to the Food Court at Sydney’s Broadway shopping centre, with an amazing array of some of Sydney’s fave food places dishing up your favourites it’s one of the reasons I’m always hanging out at Broadway. This May they celebrate this, get ready for a sensory overload because Broadway Sydney, is giving Sydneysiders a ‘money can’t buy’ experience when it launches its inaugural ‘Fusion Fest’ from 25-28th May 2017.
Showcasing a premier blend of food, fashion, beauty and music on one level, Fusion Fest is hosting a huge calibre of show stopping talent and engaging workshops to entertain and keep customers up to date on all the latest trends. Think this bucket-load of experience will be costly? Think again. This is one festival that won’t raid the piggy bank, in fact they won’t cost you a red cent!
Broadway Sydney’s Fusion Festival aims to not only showcase all that the brand new second floor has to offer, it will provide unique experiences for guests that will no doubt stay with them (and their Instagram) for a lifetime. With pop up gigs from the likes of Lastlings, Lime Cordiale, Woodes and Polographia this free event for customers will no doubt leave shoppers wondering ‘why they were so upset they weren’t at Coachella last week’.
If cooking shows are your bag and you fancy yourself as the next Heston Blumenthal, then the one-off creative food workshops are sure to whet your appetite leaving you with new culinary skills and tickled taste buds from the special reality TV surprise star guests.
With food and music aside, it’s time to get shopping! Festival goers are invited to find their fashion and beauty inspiration with tips from celeb experts in their respective fields, along with the chance to be one of the first in the world to preview social media superstar; Yan Yan Chan’s latest exhibition. Shoppers will even have the chance to take away a limited edition exclusive screen printed tee, created by the lady herself right then and there.
The unique one-off performances and workshops with experts will no doubt create ‘snap’ worthy content to leave mates, who aren’t in the know, green with envy.
Broadway Sydney’s four day ‘Fusion Fest’ will take place across the newly refurbished Level 2 , showcasing a premium mix of Australian and international brands , from 25th – 28th May 2017.
