Merivale are celebrating Bastille Week from 10-14 July, with over seven days of festivities celebrating the Fête nationale. Merivale will partner with the internationally renowned champagne brands Ruinart, Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot to celebrate across several venues. Ash Street will bring a French affair to Sydney with bespoke menus and styling at Felix and Ash St. Cellar, while over in Paddington, Danielle Alvarez will prepare ‘A French Feast from the Fireplace’ at Fred’s restaurant.
Ash Street will be transformed, transporting you to the streets of Paris with fun styling and entertainment throughout the week; and guests can feast in celebration at Felix, Ash St Cellar or Lorraine’s Patisserie whilst enjoying the French atmosphere. Champagne specials will be available to pick up on your way home from The Bottle Shop in Palings lane, including Ruinart Rosé for $90, Ruinart Blanc De Blanc for $90, Veuve Clicquot Rosé for $79.90 and Moet & Chandon Rosé for $69.90.
The Paddington precinct will also be joining in on the French affairs, with a degustation lunch and dinner at Fred’s on Bastille Day, and week-long French inspired specials at The Chicken Shop.

$150 includes a decadent and classically French feast designed by Danielle Alvarez, accompanied by Grand Cru wines from classic French Appellations.
THE CHICKEN SHOP:
The Chicken Shop will give a French twist to its staples, including a brie and black truffle baguette and comte and glazed ham baguette, while salads are served up Roquefort, Perigord and Nicoise style. The French inspired menu will be available all week long, and will also be available through Deliveroo.
