Yesterday Bose launched its latest offering to the portable speaker market, and I was intrigued to say the least and slightly skeptical but I needn’t have been because Bose have done it again. Creating a product with their amazing signature sound, they’ve gone smaller, edgier and cooler.
The SoundLink Micro is Bose’s smallest, most rugged Bluetooth speaker yet. Measuring just 9.5cms wide and deep, 3.8cms high, and weighing a mere 290 grams, the Micro is tiny — until you turn it on. This go-anywhere, do-anything powerhouse delivers unmatched sound for its size in a waterproof design. Hear your music, take your calls or access your phone’s personal assistant – out loud, outdoors, like never before.

A custom-engineered transducer, miniature dual-passive radiators and rechargeable lithium-ion battery work together to deliver up to six hours of loud, clear audio and low- bass — from an enclosure that fits in the palm of your hand.
Waterproof from the inside out, it’s tested beyond its IPX7 rating to withstand soapy water, chlorinated water and salt water. In the rain or snow, dropped in the sink, pool, or ocean, it will keep playing.
Silicone exterior protects against scratches, dents and dirt, and a sleek, durable strap easily attaches to bags and gear.
Through the Bose® Connect App, two Micros can be paired. Stereo Mode enables left-right pairing, while Party Mode lets you play the same music on any two SoundLink systems simultaneously.
