The name come from brothers Albert and Anthony who were known as Bert and Tony, the brothers left their senior corporate jobs in 2004 to open the first Bertoni Casalinga in Darling Street Balmain. Bertoni is an honest, family run business combining their loves of food, coffee and people and inspired by the food they grew up with at home cooked by their Naples born Mother.
The opening featured an Italian Drinks Station, Pasta & Mozzarella making Tables, Nutella Ciambellas, a Charcuterie table and so much more…
