On a cold Sydney Winter evening I braved the elements to dine at the newly opened ABODE Bistro, the newly opened foodie experience which is a part of The ParkRoyal hotel Darling Harbour… As a stand alone venue and run by Head Chef Ryan Hong and Restaurant Manager Ricki-Lee Warner, this all-day dining establishment is giving Darling Harbour visitors a little something different to add to their foodie experience. On entering it has a French homley feel about it, with a high twist added with wallpaper by Florence Broadhurst & Carpets by Catherine Martin. My colleague and I were immediately seated and after a conversations with our friendly waiter we decided on a Portugese red wine to start and left our food choices in the Chefs hands. With so much to chose from we thought it was the best idea, you can do the same or pick from the amazing menu. The wine list is just as impressive with some great varietals from all around the world to chose from, and lets not forget the fantastic cocktails on offer at the bar.
