I’m very excited to be a part of the Real Men Cook for Odyssey fundraiser this year, the luncheon will support programs such as the Parents and Children Program at Odyssey House that makes it possible for parents who are in the rehabilitation program to live with their children.

Parents and children living at Odyssey House have private rooms in self-contained cottages with communal dining facilities. The program teaches parenting skills and seeks to develop a happy, healthy, self-supporting unit that strives to break the cycle of problematic drug misuse between generations.  Odyssey House is a one of Australia’s leading drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs that has helped over 30,000 Australians since its inception. 

Real Men Cook for Odyssey is currently in its eleventh year, and acknowledges the important role men play in nurturing their families and creating a healthy lifestyle by involving high profile people in a fun-filled afternoon to raise money for a worthy cause.  Previous male celebrity ‘chefs’ who have participated in this special event include businessmen Gerry Harvey, David Koch, Luke Jacobz, Karl Stefanovic, Mikey Robins, Vince Sorrenti, Mark Ferguson and many others….all helping to raise over $500,000 for Odyssey House.
