Last Friday was Rogue Homme’s first Unusual Combination Dinner with Kopparberg Cider and Rum Fire, here’s a little run down of the evening.
There was a great vibe in the air at Rum Fire as guests started arriving, Kopparberg cider was flowing or bubbling and the anticipation of what the night would offer up was palatable. Then it was time for the guests to take their seats, and the first course was served up a variety of delectables that the guests shared. From roast pork belly with black pudding to stuffed mini mushrooms, freshly made sausage rolls, chicken liver pate and an impressive seafood display.
Next came the salad course and this had dressing’s made using Kopparberg ciders, and of course matched with Kopparberg ciders.
Next up were the amazing mains of either the pork knuckle or salmon, both were equally delicious.
Finally after everyone was bursting at the seams from all the food, an amazing dessert plate came out lovingly prepared by the Danish pastry chef.
Judging from the reaction of all the guests Rogue Homme’s first ever event was a rousing success , an amazing menu thanks to Rum Fire matched with the beautiful Kopparberg ciders.
Thanks to everyone that bought tickets and came out to support me at our first Rogue Homme event, plans are underway for the next one so keep an eye out.
At the end of the dinner I opened up a few vintage bottles of wine from my private collection, and we tried a special cocktail made with the Kopparberg ciders after an amazing cocktail flair show by the bartenders at Rum Fire.
