Inspired by the revelry of Rio de Janeiro, Le Specs ups the energy in its newest collection for a celebration of summer.
Echoing a distinctive seventies vibe marbled white frames and vibrant mirrored lenses meet metal detailing and bold graphic frames for maximum impact. Matte details and rubber textures update the traditional wayfarer and a modern take on the classic round sunglass is perfect for hot, hazy beach days.
Saturated palettes of cobalt blue and rose are effortlessly paired with an undercurrent of softer feminine hues
to capture the essence of carefree Brazilian beach parties. Masculine shapes with glamorous popping colours and gilded finishes give the feeling of festivity.
Designer Hamish Tame explains, “The Le Specs collection this season is all about the glamour and seduction
of the seventies, reworked with a bold level of energy. Hamish went travelling travelling and kept a visual diary here are just some of the amazing places he visited.
The world-famous beach parties of Brazil were the references for the palette with a series of marble textures and popping mirrored-lenses adding a dynamic edge to the seventies look.”
Shot by photographer Todd Barry, the Rio Riot campaign features Nathaniel Visser and Emily Baker, styled by Jolyon Mason.
Le Specs continues to build on its global success, now stocked in over 35 countries worldwide. The iconic Australian sunglass brand has been spotted on cult influencers Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.
