Get Your SABA Style at their New QVB Store

Iconic Australian Fashion label and one of our faves SABA has now opened a brand new concept store at Sydney’s amazing QVB building, opened early November SABA enlisted award-winning interior design rm, Hecker Guthrie, to create a breathtaking new store concept that incorporates sophisticated multimedia elements. A clean monochromatic palette and contemporary architectural design adds a modern touch while still encapsulating the heritage of the SABA brand.

SABA has been involved with Hecker Guthrie since 2002. Commenting on the motivating factors behind this most recent concept store design, Paul Hecker and Hamish Guthrie state, ‘re ecting on the strong heritage and in uence that SABA has had on the Australian fashion industry since 1965, we were prompted to unravel this SABA ‘DNA’. Objects are placed within the space, to create a varying landscape of enclosures. A more curated space, rather like a gallery, is seen to be representative of the SABA’s ethos, and through explorations in furniture, artwork and installations, a more rounded identity is visible to the public.’

The new QVB Flagship store is opened perfectly timed for the Christmas season, and aligns with the unveiling of SABA’s ‘Here Comes the Sun’ High Summer Campaign – with womenswear, menswear and accessory collections available.

Reigning as the first store to showcase this new SABA concept, the opening of SABA QVB is a pinnacle moment for the brand, and marks the beginning of a longstanding partnership with one of Sydney’s most historic and architecturally superb buildings.

A thought-provoking take on the Australian wardrobe, SABA is defined by superior tailoring and modern simplicity. It’s the go-to brand for those wanting pieces with edge and international relevance, but design traits that suit an Australian lifestyle.

SABA was founded in 1965 by Melbourne designer, Joseph Saba, who has been described as ‘arguably the most creative force in Australian fashion.’ An icon of Australian fashion, SABA, through the modernity of each collection, has remained relevant and contemporary for over 52 years.
