The event is well known for delivering a comprehensive variety of products, across all boating sectors. Joining local visitors, the show also has a large number of guests from across the country as well as overseas, making it the ideal location for the marine industry to use as a base to launch new products and services.

At the show’s Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour, big boats play a large part of the events spectacular nature. However, those that know the boating market will tell you that 90% of all registered vessels live on a trailer. As such the huge under cover displays located at the Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island will host a haven of trailer boats and all the gear for them. Catering for many of the diverse boating tastes, sports boats such as water ski, wake and PWCs, will be accompanied by family cruisers and the ever so popular fishing vessels. Show research shows than more than half of all visitors to the event have a primary interest in fishing, so fishing rigs and the gear for them feature heavily. Kayaks, canoes and all sorts of craft play a part in what is a huge display of recreational boating fun.

Whilst those who love boating know that it is a great lifestyle, they will also tell you that safe boating is good boating and as such show organisers have teamed up with Transport for NSW who work as their Partners in Safety. At the show you will find a whole lot of support information to help make your time on the water better. Make sure you pop into the Boating Safety Zone.

The 2016 and 49th edition has been confirmed to run from the 28th July for 5 days only.
